The 91日韩AV has been ranked 27th in England for teaching according to the annual National Student Survey (NSS) published today (10 July).

It was ranked 19th of all universities in England for academic support in the NSS and 17th for learning resources for full-time undergraduates.

Recently the University achieved a Gold rating in the latest national assessment of teaching excellence confirming the sustained and consistent nature of the University鈥檚 outstanding offer to students and ranks Portsmouth amongst the top universities in the UK for teaching.

Portsmouth students are taught by expert lecturers and groundbreaking researchers whose  breakthroughs, discoveries and latest theories feed directly into courses. The University is ranked third of all modern post-92 universities in the UK for research power.

The University has invested 拢5.8 million in OfS funding to transform its Faculty of Technology facilities. The funding has been used for new equipment, laboratories and simulated learning environments, including a satellite room for space applications and advanced renewable energy equipment to prepare the next generation of engineers and technicians.

The outcome of this independent and nationally acknowledged survey confirms our commitment to delivering unparalleled quality for our students. It underscores our significant capabilities, with students expressing high levels of satisfaction with the academic support and learning resources provided.

The 91日韩AV Dental Academy has completed a significant 拢5.6 million upgrade to its facilities, which now feature modern 鈥榩hantom head鈥 units, new digital dentistry equipment, dental training simulators which combine virtual reality with mixed reality to offer a high-fidelity haptic experience (technology that creates an experience of touch by applying forces, vibrations, or motions to the user), and upgraded patient clinics designed to offer a real-world experience for students.

Starting this August, the 91日韩AV will deliver a medical degree in partnership with King鈥檚 College London. The King鈥檚 College London branch campus forms part of the 91日韩AV鈥檚 vision to eventually open its own medical school. The branch campus arrangement means that medical students can be trained locally while the plans for the 91日韩AV medical school are progressed.

Professor Graham Galbraith, Vice-Chancellor of the 91日韩AV, said: 鈥淭he outcome of this independent and nationally acknowledged survey confirms our commitment to delivering unparalleled quality for our students. 鈥淭he NSS survey results serve as a crucial reference for potential students to make informed decisions about their higher education choices. This also brings us closer to our long-term goal of becoming the leading modern UK university and securing a place among the top 100 young universities globally by 2030.鈥
