2024 Undergraduate Welcome Events include:
Moving-in Weekend and Welcome Festival
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2024
Make sure you check out the Welcome Festival on Gun House Green, right next to the Students' Union. We have plenty of room for you and your entourage to sit and enjoy some great food from our street food vendors and you can also take the opportunity to meet other students and talk to our friendly support staff who are on hand to answer all your questions. We'll be open from 10am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. We look forward to welcoming you in!
Induction Week
Monday 23 September 2024 to Sunday 29 September 2024
This is the official start of term and marks the beginning of Induction Week. You'll receive your timetable and induction schedule before the term starts.
Freshers’ Fayre
Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 September 2024
Located next to the Students' Union on Gun House Green, the Freshers' Fayre is a great opportunity to meet new people, join a new club or society, grab some freebies and enjoy the atmosphere. Our support services are also on hand to help you get set for the term ahead.
Give Me Sport Week
Thursday 26 September to Sunday 29 September
During this week, you're invited to join a variety of sports clubs and sports centre taster sessions.
